The Soul is waiting for a Re-birth 15.Wisdom Notes Breathing helps… Breathing is connected with both Pranic Body as well as Mental Body. The Pranayamas heals the Pranic body and makes oxygen available to our bodies. How to do Pancha Mudra Pranayama? Do all the Pancha Mudras in the order of Chin Mudra, Chinmaya Mudra, Adi Mudra, Meru Mudra and finally Poorana Mudra. While doing the Mudra, do Pranayama with the count: 4 – Inhale, 1 – Hold, 5 – Exhale and 2 – Hold. One count is equivalent to the time required to count the numbers one and two. This will be considered as one round. Do 7 rounds of breathing for each Mudra. It will take totally a maximum of 7 to 9 minutes to complete the whole routine. Compulsorily do every day Don’t do them on an empty stomach. Give 15 minutes gap after tea and 30 minutes gap after food. Preferably don’t do them while going to sleep as you will feel refreshed, so sleep will evade you (though half-an-hour before sleep, gives you a refreshing sleep). The natural process of life… Trees release oxygen by taking in carbon dioxide. We release carbon dioxide and take in oxygen. It’s the natural process of life. Every living thing – plants and trees, breathes rhythmically. Even the seasons are rhythmic in nature too. Can you say that tomorrow the sun won't be there and Moon will be lost in space? Being in tune with Nature… None of us are in tune with nature. To be so, we should change our breathing pattern to 10 to 12 breaths every minute. Normally, we do 20 to 26 breaths per minute. We need to reduce that. We have to condition our breath too. This is done by doing Pranayama with the breathing pattern “4:1:5:2” as mentioned earlier. Additionally we have to breathe from the throat. This will make us to take longer breaths. The breathing will be easier and we won’t put any stress on the nose either. We are living in a world where there is less oxygen We are living in an atmosphere where there is lack of oxygen. It should contain 20% of oxygen, but it doesn’t. Less the oxygen around us, then less will be our health. We are using tap water – which has chlorine that was used to treat the water. Chlorine is not good for the heart. It hogs the arteries with the cholesterol in our system attaches itself to chlorine. Mineral water is treated with chlorine too – and thus it has less oxygen too. Oxygenated or ionized water will be good. If it contains more negative ions then it will have more oxygen. Even once in your lifetime, if you had taken an anti-biotic, then it will reduce oxygen in your system. Fast foods contain less oxygen. Pasteurized milk has no oxygen. Bottled and canned or tetra packs packed for drinks, Microwave oven and non-stick pan cooked foods has less oxygen too. An AC room has less oxygen and thus less Prana. When there is less sound there will be more oxygen. Therefore it is good for us to be silent. But how can it be possible in this noise polluted world? But oxygen is very important to cells… How to rectify the situation of being in a less oxygen world? Function of breath is to give oxygen to cells. Why do cells require oxygen? If a cell gets enough oxygen then there won’t be any abnormal cells. Lack of oxygen is the primary reason for cancer and viral attacks. If a cell is deprived of oxygen for 36 hrs, then it becomes cancerous. Virus and cancer cells thrive in lack of oxygen. Cancer is created by atmosphere we live in. This is the bottom line as per cell biologists. Hydrogen peroxide tablets – there are some food grades available in the market, which is good for producing oxygen. This is a good therapy for cancer patients. When we make oxygen available… Does that mean that an oxygen chamber can pump oxygen into the cells? No, the cells should be open to receive the oxygen. When we are tensed, fearful, and angry, worried, feel sad or depressed, then cells get closed. Additionally we have made the atmosphere with less oxygen which makes cells closed and thus our body starves for oxygen. Change the Mind, Open the Cells… The gene scientists say, because some of our family members have diabetes, doesn’t mean that we will get diabetes too. Cells can be altered by immediate environment. Bruce Lipton an expert Cell Biologist promises that subject to environmental stress – we can modify the behavior of the gene. As mind is the immediate environment to the cells in the body, we can alter the genes by the thoughts we think. Incidentally our minds keep thinking 24 hrs a day. If we can change the mind, we create the healing required to open the cells. Here, EFT can help a lot, as we could come out of our emotions easily. This makes our cells open. Two types of nervous systems… Body is functioning with the help of an autonomous system. We have Para-sympathetic and Sympathetic nervous systems. Para-sympathetic system is connected to every cell of the body through the spinal cord. It takes over our body functions automatically, For example, Heart, Stomach, and lungs are operated by Para-sympathetic nervous system without any intervention from our side. Digestion of food doesn’t wait for our signal to operate. We have to thank god for such a precious ability of our bodies. The Sympathetic nervous system closes the cells as a reaction when we are under stress. Then a signal is sent to cells with a flight or fight message. The cells then will either go into a fighting mode or protection/growth mode. Cells get closed and from then they don't receive oxygen any more and will get cancerous eventually as mentioned above. How do we get oxygen? We get it through our food. If you are stressed out then you won’t feel like eating properly. If we say oxygen is life, does that mean that if we bring a dead body and give oxygen to it, then it will come back to life? No. What is the secret then? Oxygen is bound with Prana – the universal energy. Lack of Prana is A-Prana. Oxygen is also bound with A-Prana. Thus Prana and A-Prana form the opposite sides of the coin – I mean Oxygen. Prana means life. A-Prana means death. When Prana enters the body, A-Prana enters too. Thus when we take birth, we had to undergo death as well. Prana is composed of five elements -- water, fire, water, space and earth. The earth energy comes from vegetables and food. By taking in water, we provide energy to body. When we inhale, we are inhaling universal energy. The transaction between oneself and god is Prana. The Pranic Body is affected by… As we go through certain emotions, the body changes it pattern of breathing. When we get angry – the breathing is rapid and shallow. When we worry or be fearful, we don't breathe at all. Immediately the Pranic field is affected. Thus, when we change our breathing consciously, our emotions change automatically too. Breathing through the right nostril stimulates the sympathetic nervous system, while the left nostril activates the Para-sympathetic nervous system. In fact if you close the right nostril, automatically you will relax without any conscious effort, because breathing through left nostril increases the coolness and right nostril stimulates heat of the body. If alkaline in the body is around 7.4 then we will be healthy. If it is less than 6 then we will become unhealthy and acidic as well. Calmness increases alkaline, while stress increases acidic. In any situation where there is hue and cry, for example in a funeral, A-Prana is high. Therefore when you enter such a place you feel negative. It’s high in a hospital too. If A-Prana is pre-dominant then we will die. Agarbathi bought from shops has nothing but chemicals. So it creates A-Prana instead of Prana. In general we go to many places and thus meeting different people, then we will get more A-Prana. When we have more A-Prana then we face virus attacks including from AIDS virus. Heal the Pranic Body by… By doing deep breathing the Pranic body can be cleansed. An ionizer can increase Prana in your system. Lemon removes A-Prana. So we do Dirshti removal with lemon. Keep Kall Uppu (salt crystal – which is not touched by any machinery) under bed mixed in a bowel of water. After 24 hrs throw the water away. We will sleep well as the salt water absorbs negativity. Salt crystals have that capacity. For the same reason, we feel better when we go to a beach. Sodium Magnesium potassium is in the rock salt. A famous actor – who is a patient of Naran, when he was dying, he felt extremely stressful. Salt water was kept under his bed and he slept peacefully during the last days of his life. Salt water also immunizes us from any side effects in the treatment. This is the experience of a student of Naran. Virus will not attack when salt water is kept. “SO HUM” Breathing Meditation Say ‘SO’ during inhale internally and ‘HAM’ for exhale. A mild or soft breath will do. Use only one speed while doing this rapid breathing, without holding the breath after inhale or exhale. After 45 minutes of rapid breathing, we don’t need to breathe at all. In that state of no breathing, we merge with the cosmic breath. Then the latter will take over our breathing and take care of it. Whenever we have a diarrhea or dysentery SOHAM breathing can do the necessary healing. Pulse rate changes from 74 to 60. If the breathing is fast, then our focus will be on our breath, mind becomes quiet, and therefore throws away toxins from our system. Instead of SOHAM (means à I am that), you may chant NAGAM (I am not) or KOHAM (who am I). It is better to use a CD that chants SOHAM as then it will be easier for us to maintain the speed of breathing. After dying?Outside the physical body is Sutshma Sariram – called as the Pranic Body. It is an exact replica of physical body. When a person dies, you could see the dead person in the same form of their physical body, which is nothing but their Pranic Body. In the case of enlightened beings, they become light bodies after death. God alone commands that. That's why enlightened people dead bodies are not burnt. They are always in the state of Jeevan Samadhi. The Pranic body dies one year after the physical death of the body. Where it stays is not the question of the hour. The Pranic body of dead person can be talked to – what’s known as speaking to the ghost. Pranic field or auric field of a living person can be healed by Pranic healers. They scan the person and see the energy field. Though, we can’t scan the energy field of a dead person as the Pranic Body has left them. What happens to the mind? In Pranic body, some part of mind gets attached to it. The subconscious mind – the memory storage is required for us to take the next life. After death, mind suppresses itself and becomes a memory matrix, goes into the Pranic body. Rest of the mind goes and attaches itself to something in some part of the universe. It will connect itself to the universal mind. This can be used as a resource – a NLP resource. For example, I can use the intelligence resource of Ramanujam, to be good at math. The mind identifies itself as the person. Nobody is intelligent and nobody is a fool. We get the resource/energy from this mind. People also can tap the intelligence resource/millionaire resource from the universal mind. They can be made available to us by tapping those resources. The Soul is waiting for a Re-birth The Pranic body is the soul – waiting for a chance to take the next birth. After one year of physical death, it will lodge itself in any of the plant. That's why we should have a garden of plants.Wisdoms NotesDec 13th 2008 Monthly Class by Naran

Rule Your Mind Rule Your Life
Naran's April Lecture - edited by R.Mohan
Benefits of RULE
· RULE can change our lives significantly. We gain control. A new power surges inside you. We regain our power of choosing.
· We will be able to recreate our own world to the extent we implement RULE. We can become powerful and take our lives into our own hands.
· RULE is a self-empowering tool, which changes our outlook about our life. It allows us to change on the spot and helps us to handle any problems you may come across.
· Why should we follow RULE?
o Reactions destroy our peace of mind.
o Reactions repeat the same drama in our lives again.
o Once our uncontrollable emotions and thoughts are released, we will find a peace deep inside us.
o Reactions intensify the inner mental struggle, while RULE stops it.
· Just let go all the thoughts. You discharge what you do not require as water puts out the fire.
· Mind is managing your life. Instead, manage it yourself. Then you do not need a teacher. You do not need anybody.
Instructions for RULE
· Do it regularly.
· Do it systematically.
· Do not think it as an exercise.
· Play it like a game.
· Sometimes you may not see any changes or results immediately after practicing RULE. Though, within an hour or two, or may be after a day or two you will notice some results and changes for sure. Therefore, don’t give up hope.
· Continue practicing RULE.
Steps to Execute Rule RULE: Release Before You Act
Release all thoughts and feelings prior to action.
· You get a phone call. You get irritated, why should I get such calls during late nights.
Can you release this irritation? Affirm, “I let go of this irritation”. Then take the call.
· You are about to perform an action. Your mind is filled with thoughts. Release the thoughts.
That’s does not mean you are prevented from doing the action. You just do the action without any thoughts related to action.
If some other thoughts come, tell them, “This is not the time for you now. For the time being, please go out, as this is not your place either”.
See what happens. The mind becomes baffled and the emotion flees.
· After the action is over, if the results are not to your expectations, you may comment about people involved, “I wasted so much time on this”.
Affirm, “I release the thought. I let go this thought.”
Thus, you release thoughts associated with the results of the action. Please note even if the results are positive you do the same.
If you do any action, without any thought or feeling, then its one hundred percent completed.
RULE: Let Go
How can we release thoughts? It does not seem to be easy, as there is resistance inside the mind.
· How to bring the mind to do letting go?
Let say, you are angry.
You think, “I am angry”. Change it to “I feel angry.” If you are happy then affirm, “I feel happy”, and so on.
When you say I am angry, it means you have identified yourself with anger (e.g. I am Balakumar).
On the other hand you disassociate with the emotion when you say, “I feel angry”. There is dissociation between the feeler (I) and the emotion.
When you say, “I feel angry” then it means that it is my emotion and I can either hold on to it or release it.
· Release the emotion. In this case it is anger.
Sometimes, it will so happen that you may still feel uncomfortable with this releasing of anger. Then watch the thoughts. If you release the thoughts, it will be easier to release the emotions associated with them.
RULE: Manage Multiple Thoughts
Though in a given situation, you may have multiple thoughts fuelling the emotions associated with it. How to release these thoughts?
· List the thoughts you are feeling currently.
Observe the thoughts that fuel the anger.
In general, one thought will generate another thought.Thoughts fuel the emotion and keep you in a particular state of mind.
Let us see an example.
Somebody cheats you. How do you let go of the thoughts in your mind that is attached to this incident. List the thoughts first. Your list may contain the following:
· Take the first one “Let him go to hell”.
Affirm, “I accept this thought.”
Then ask the mind, “Can I release it?”
If it replies ‘Yes’, then affirm, “I release the thought – let him go to hell. I let go this thought.”
Repeat the same procedure for other thoughts in the list, until you are completely free.
RULE: Create GAP Between Thoughts And Actions
Let us take an example.
A mother says, “My child is not studying. Tomorrow he has an exam”.
Letting go proves to be difficult in this case. Between feelings and action, there is no gap. Therefore, we get angry and scold him.
How do we create that gap?
· Whenever any emotion arises, Release the emotion first.
Then observe the thoughts that fuel the emotion. What are the thoughts? Release them one by one, as per the RULE.
I accept this thought. Can I release it?
By asking questions, you create a gap between thoughts and actions.
Will he study if I release the thought? He has not studied so far. Try this technique, release your anger and speak to him about his exam. Then see the results for yourself.
RULE: Release Desires
Emotions block the communication.
What is the communication required here? He has to listen to us so that he studies for the exam.
Sometimes, even after releasing the emotion and thoughts, we may not be satisfied because some part of anger will linger and disturb us and it is waiting to burst out at any moment.
That means we need not get dejected with the procedure or Rule for releasing. The lingering anger means we have to go deeper into the mind stream and observe the deeply held desires. They prevent the total release of the emotions.
Therefore, release the desires behind your thoughts, emotions and actions. This is another step to emotional freedom.
There can be three types of desires here. Let us see how to release them.
· Release Desire to Control and Change
You want to change the person or control them.
He has to study very hard and become an Engineer. A framework is present here. Release the desire or wanting one after another.
Do I want to control or change this person/child? If, yes, just ask your mind, “Can I release my desire to control him?”
We are only releasing the desire. We are not releasing the action.
Affirm, “I release my desire to control him”.
Observe whether the anger gets released. If it is still there, there may be one more desire.
· Release Desire for Security
If somebody is feeling insecure then it means that one wants to feel secured.
This desire may be in the form of a thought. If he does not study he may fail and he will be a failure in his life. This is the desire to get secured.
Ask yourself, “Can I release my desire to feel secured?”
The unwritten meaning here you are already secured, though your mind wants you to feel other way around.
Where there is fear there is no presence of divinity. Only Satan is present.
Affirm, “I release my desire to have security”.
These desires are born with ego. Release them.
Find out whether there is any other desire. It might be present.
· Release Desire for Approval
Others should recognize me.
Others should appreciate us (by appreciating my son’s excellence in his studies).
People have to complement us (how well, we have brought him up).
Expecting appreciation and compliments from others indicates our desire for approval (from others).
What if they appreciate you or not?
You let go the craving for recognition, by following the earlier RULEs.
All these desires may be present simultaneously. Sometimes, one or two may not be present. Always question the mind whether a particular desire is present or not.
Now you will be totally free from emotions and desires.
Take the action. Communicate now. Ask your son to study well. He will study well for sure.
RULE: The World Exists Without Our Intervention
Keep releasing thoughts as and when they arise, by following the process of RULE. Everything will happen without your intervention.
My brother-in-law came to the institute during the lunch hour. I was taking a class then.
I accompanied him to my house. I had to comeback to the class after organizing lunch from a local caterer. However, the caterer did not turn up on time. I was worried that my students will be hungry and may be cursing me for the same reason.
I released every thought that I felt then.
The caterer came to my house. He informed me that lunch had already been served in the class room. I didn’t even make a phone call. I did the releasing act only.
You do not need to go anywhere, as everything will happen by itself.
We think we need to do something to make things happen. We need not. Without us, the world exists. When you do letting go, everything will happen to us for sure.
RULE: Our Thoughts Will Affect Others
Our thoughts will affect others. We may think it is only a thought. But it does affect them and influence them.
Why we need to do so much of forgiving and releasing?
Otherwise, it will continue in the next Janma (lifetime) or may be in the future.
Game Plan of RULE – In Nutshell
Whenever you are going to take an action, what we should do before the action.
· Let go off all the thoughts and emotions pertaining to the action.
· What do you want to achieve? Release that and let go those expectations.
· After releasing all the thoughts and expectations, if still any emotion lingers, then ask the question, “What are the motivators in the form of desires?”
· Find whether there is any desire to control, approval, or security? Release that too.
· Take the action. There is no hurry. Only mind is hurrying.
· After taking an action, some result will be there. Let go the feelings and thoughts associated with the results.
· Mind will become calm. You are not concentrating on the result, but only on the action. If we do like that, any action will be to your satisfaction.
· Release the satisfaction too
· After feeling happy, release that too
RULE Mudra
Kinesthetically we can execute the releasing process.
· Do Adi Mudra to indicate that emotions are inside us.
Let us say you are blaming the government when there is a power cut. Then do Adi Mudra and affirm, “I accept my blaming tendency”.
· Open the hand and affirm, “I release my blaming tendency”
This is the signal to body that we have released the emotions attached to the incident. Now instead of sitting and blaming you will call up the electricity board and will make a complaint.

RULE: Program Your Life- Lecture by naran
Edited by R.mohan
RULE: Recreate the Life You Want
I am Helpless and Living In Hell! How can I create my world?
As long as I believe that I and My Mind are one and the same, and accepting whatever mind creates, my life is helpless and hell.
As long as I am not aware that I can RECREATE or REPROGRAM my life, I lose all the power.
Not knowing that I can reprogram my mind and life is ignorance.
Our mind is full of emotions, thoughts, and reactions. As long as they alone make up our mind, we don’t have any choice but to live our lives without any power.
RULE: Become POWERFUL
When there is awareness, when we come to know that we are not our mind, a new POWER surges in.
We will be able to RECREATE our own world to an extent with this little awareness. We can then become POWERFUL and take our lives into our own hands.
RULE is a self-empowering tool, which changes our outlook about our lives.
What is this technique all about?
It is simply a process of letting go and releasing the emotions and thoughts as and when they arise.
How to Implement RULE
It is very simple. Whenever we tend to react, just say, “I let go this feeling.
E.g., “Fear, can you please go? This is not the time for you. For the time being please go out. This is not your place either.”
See what happens. The mind becomes baffled and the emotion flees.
RULE: Do Not React, but Release and Act
Reactions destroy our peace of mind. Once our uncontrollable emotions and thoughts are let off, we will find a peace deep inside us.
RULE is a technique for allowing us to change on the spot.
RULE allows us to handle any problem by releasing and letting go and thus stops the inner mental struggle.
Reactions intensify the mental struggle. Releasing gives us a new outlook. Reactions repeat the same drama.
RULE: Discharge like Water putting OUT the Fire
When you look at the whole world you will understand we only are holding on to mind. What is the opposite of letting go? “Holding on to” is the opposite word. Holding will restrict us. Letting go expands us.
RULE: by letting go you are discharging from yourself what is not required by you, like Water putting out the Fire.
Body and Nature Follows RULE 100%
Watch the body. What it does?
Whatever is inhaled, lungs have to exhale out. Lungs cannot keep the air even for one second.
Heart: what does it do? It takes in blood and sends it immediately. Blood enters the heart through Auricles and let out through Ventricles.
Whatever you take in, has to be let it out is the natural process of the body.
Lungs contract to let go. Kidneys contract to let go urine. Intestines peristaltically(downward movement) contract to let go the faeces. Skin lets go by sweat.
The mouth lets go whatever you eat to the stomach. Stomach lets it go to the intestine. Intestine and kidneys let go as excretion.
Morning lets go to the noon, the noon lets go and becomes afternoon. Afternoon lets go and become the evening, and then evening to night. Each and every second gives way to the next.
Following RULE is a natural process.
Execute RULE
Let go before taking the action. Then let go the emotions and thoughts attached to results.
Ask the questions:
1. What do you expect to achieve?
2. What is the driver desire or wanting behind each emotion and thought?
A. Wanting to control or change?
B. Wanting appreciation, recognition? (Desire for Approval)
C. Wanting more security? (fearful)
With this technique, you are not prevented from doing anything. Let go emotions as well as thoughts, and then Act.
“You are only entitled to Act. Don’t think about the result while doing” – says Lord Krishna in Bhagavat Gita.
The theory, we propose here is a new dimension to Bhagavat Gita and a new understanding of the Gita.
RULE: Be With the Feeling
1. Focus on the feeling, with Adi Mudra.
2. Say, “Yes, there is … (mention the feeling here)”
3. I welcome this … (feeling)
4. But can I let go this feeling?
5. If you get the answer “yes”, then just say, “I let go of this … (feeling)”
6. If the feeling is still there?
7. Ask the mind, “Can I let go just 10% of the feeling?” If the answer is yes, then proceed further and let go another 10%.
8. Still you are unable to come out of stagnation,
9. Observe the thoughts.
10. Can I release this thought?
11. If the answer is yes then say, “I release … (thought)”
12. If the answer is “no”, then ask another question. “Is this thought useful to me?”
13. “No.” means let go. Release all the thoughts one by one. Find out which desire is behind the emotion.
14. Is it the desire to control or change the person or event, or the desire for approval or the desire to feel more secured?
15. Ask the mind again.
16. If there is desire to control or change ask, “Can I release the desire to control?”
17. Yes means, I accept my desire to control but I let go this desire to control.
18. Is there any desire for approval? (Desiring for praise, recognition)
19. If yes means, “I just release this desire for approval.”
20. Is there any desire to feel more secured?
21. If yes means, “I release this desire to feel more secured.”
After some time, there will not be any feeling or thought.
Peace dawns.
22. Now take the required action.
Try RULE Process for the Following Imaginary Situations
