I met Shri Balakumar through my sister who had done the Bach Flower Therapy course conducted by him.

Shri B’s healing is not confined to Bach Flowers. He is a Reiki Grandmaster, does Mantra and Affirmative healing, Colour therapy and has a host of other supportive healing systems on tap. What characterises him in all this is his openness. He does not make up mysterious little packages numbered for dosage but with no name. He tells you what he is giving you and why. His openness stretches out into other things. In my own way, I am doing some healing now. Whenever I consult him, he tells me what to do and teaches me new methods of healing. In this age of intellectual property rights, with teachers making students give a written undertaking that they will not reveal to others what they have learnt in a course, Shri B’s willingness to share knowledge is truly remarkable.
All healers are required to be non-judgemental and Shri B practises this to perfection. The qualities of care, consideration, compassion, tact and understanding are what I find very appealing.

As a teacher, you see another facet altogether with his hilarious sense of humour that keeps the classes lively. He invites old students to refresher classes and each time the methodology is different. He is that supreme teacher who is a learner at all times.

He is open to new ideas and when he finds something new he shares it with everyone. If he finds a better way to do something than what he taught earlier, he says so.  He is in fact the supreme teacher who is a learner all the time.
